The department

Welltec® is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst / Business Controller to join the HQ FP&A team in Allerød. The position provides a unique opportunity to join a truly global company and finance function with professionals in 20+ countries across the world.

You will be part of a team of five, where one person is working out of Italy and the remaining four are working out of Denmark. The department serves as the last touchpoint before the executive board and the CEO/CFO, hence the analysis and presentations from the team have a great impact.

 

The position 

Would you like to be challenged in a constantly changing business environment, and at the same time create the link between business decisions and financial performance? 

If so, you now have the opportunity to be part of an ambitious, dynamic and global department aiming to deliver world class finance.  

The role has a broad nature and you will be exposed and involved in a number of regular and ad hoc tasks, ranging from budgeting and controlling of revenue and cost to creating financial models, BI reports and having the responsibility to oversee a number of KPIs. Further to this you will have a stake within reporting to senior management and Board of Directors and may occasionally be involved in M&A projects.

Some of the tasks that you will be driving include:

  • Budgeting and controlling
  • Providing sparring and support to the EVP for Manufacturing, Development & Engineering 
  • Defining accounting/process flows
  • Data enabling via various reporting tools including Power BI and XLCubed
  • Preparing periodical and ad hoc materials, using financial and non-financial metrics for management, board of directors and investors
  • Participating and driving projects aimed at improving financial and business processes and ensuring compliance

You will report to Finance Director, FP&A who reports directly to the CFO.


The candidate

Having the right mindset will be key in defining the successful candidate. You have 2-5 years of experience from a fast paced organization where you have worked within Finance solving medium to complex tasks. Good understanding of Accounting is expected. Other qualifications and skills that will help you in the role include:

 

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and trust across rank and function.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to deliver complex data in a structured and result-oriented manner
  • Demonstrated team player with a real drive, initiative, and a high level of commitment who is not afraid to challenge the status quo.
  • Microsoft Excel super user with the ability to handle financial modelling tasks
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.

The atmosphere in Corporate Finance is informal and humorous so if you can maintain your sense of humor at all times, you are the kind of person we are looking for.

As the position has an international span, around 10 days of travelling must be expected.
