Featured case
Offshore Indonesia, the first in-country deployment of the Welltec® Wellgrab BANDIT enabled efficient crown plug retrieval in a deepwater well challenged by debris accumulation. Using a custom grapple and surface-controlled latching, the BANDIT displaced debris and successfully retrieved upper and lower crown plugs on the first attempt without clean-out runs. Retrieval time was reduced from approximately five hours to one, while improving operational certainty and reducing wireline risk.
